I'm Kareem Abfe. I've spent years around computers, tools, and the small everyday gear that makes working at a desk better or worse. This site is where I put the research I do anyway to good use — writing the honest guides and reviews I wish I could have found before spending my own money.

How I write these

Every guide here is based on hands-on use or genuine, careful research. When I've lived with a product, I'll say so and tell you what held up and what annoyed me. When I'm comparing options I haven't personally owned, I'll be clear that it's a research-based pick and explain the reasoning. I care more about being useful than about sounding impressive.

My rules

• No product gets a recommendation just because it pays a commission.
• Every recommendation includes who it's not for.
• If something changed my mind, I update the article and note it.
